Ordering.

Hello, and thank you for choosing to work with Truss Components of Washington! I appreciate your business and this opportunity to work with you.

From the time you supply Truss Components of WA (TCOW) with a set of plans or a material list there will be several key interactions and checkpoints that will need to be completed in a timely fashion in order to keep your project on schedule. Below is a list of actions and some critical timeframes necessary to deliver your components on schedule.

1. Contact your sales representative to place the order:

a. Please let your sales rep know what the progress on your project is.

i. Planning – complete or need designs for permit

ii. Permit – received or anticipated date of approval

iii. Foundation – completed or anticipated completion date

iv. Framing – in process or anticipated start date

v. Requested Delivery Date – date you can receive trusses

b. Confirm payment method with your sales rep

c. Provide complete delivery instructions including

i. Site address with nearest intersection

ii. Site contact (Name, Phone, E-mail)

iii. Describe any challenges with job-site that may affect delivery

2. Within two days of you placing the order, TCOW’s truss delivery scheduler (schedule@trusscomponents.com) will respond via e-mail with a Committed Delivery Week based on TCOW’s current workload. (This week may or may not match your Requested Delivery Date, but it’s a week we know we can stand behind. If you are ready sooner than we can commit to we will do our best to move our schedule up.) Once you receive this e-mail, all delivery related questions and concerns should be directed via e-mail to the scheduler.

3. 21 days prior to the anticipated Requested Delivery Date your sales rep will contact you to verify if any updates may need to be done to the component designs. Depending on the need for updating designs your sales rep will…

a. Issue a purchase agreement as designed with current pricing for your approval or…

b. Schedule a meeting to review conditions so that the designs can be updated. Within a few of days of that meeting your sales rep will issue a purchase agreement with the updated designs for your approval

4. 14 days prior to your Requested Delivery Date TCOW will need a signed purchase agreement and payment in full unless credit terms have been agreed to.

5. 10 days prior to your Requested Delivery Date TCOW will release the project for production. (Trusses cannot be released for production until #4 above has been completed)

6. Product will be delivered as close as possible to your Requested Delivery Date. Please note that the delivery may be delayed if timelines are not adhered to. Our goal is to make the process of ordering, receiving and installing components as simple, fast and safe as possible. Please reach out to your sales rep with any questions about this process.

Thank you, again, for this opportunity to work together!
